A proposal is a business written offer from a seller to a potential prospective buyer. A proposal is a key step in the complex sales process e.g when a buyer considers more than just the price of the price of the product. a proposal puts the sellers product in context for the buyer to meet his/her demands and it educates the buyer about the product they are buying and and it shows if the sellers pitch met the buyers criteria. a proposal is a visual representation of how your film is going to look and whats it about, your version of a completed end product. you also use the proposal to get the casting and camera crew on board with your project, the more experience your camera and casting crew has the more likely you are to be allowed to go through with your proposal and get the budget to film your movie. once your proposal goes through and you got your cast and camera crew that bring experience on board you need to look into the business and planning the movie and the financial budgets ...
